Is the magic is brewing? The Zauber Cauldrons module enhances vanilla cauldrons. Once created and supplied with a bucket of water, it can be used to craft a whole bunch of useful items.
A Zauber Cauldron requires a valid fuel source (aka a fire block) underneath as well as water. The cauldron is ready to craft items as soon as the water inside boils. You can craft items by dropping all ingredients and a reactant on top of the cauldron.
Every cauldron can be used as a zauber cauldron, just step up to a cauldron with fire underneath, fill it with water, cast a spell using an enchanted book and you are ready to go!
- Some potions are still very unstable and might have side effects.
- Some recipes are very hazardous and should not be used without any preparations.
- "Zauber" is the German word for "Magic". Since Sparks and Bluefire610 both have German roots this is the name they settled on.
Easter Eggs Edit
Crafting Mechanics Edit
|hazardous recipe||Fire will appear near you.|
|fatal recipe||You die...|
Advanced Reactants Edit
In order to progress further you'll need even more powerful reactants. You've discovered how to awaken some sort of mystical force allowing prismarine shards to store your knowledge.
By using the new form of reactant you're able to infuse your armor! It doesn't seem like there's a downside to it...
Luck appears to be stored in every being! You were able to inhale some luck -or whatever that greenish stuff was- after extracting some helpless flowers, mixing them with grass, and activating the brew using an enchanted prismarine shard.
(make sure to add the enchanted shard after adding all flowers!)
Adding multiple types of flowers increases your chances of a luck effect; less flower types might cause bad luck. For more information about the luck mechanic see Technical Details -> Luck Mechanics
|hazardous recipe||the more different flowers a player adds before adding the prismarine shard, the longer and stronger the luck effect will be, however, bad luck is a thing as well. Adding five flowers results in a 20% chance of a luck I (0:40) effect. The player must wear fully modified armor!|
It seems like the zauberkraft stored in prismarine crystals is able to stabilize some enchantments when exposed to a bright light source. These crystals are only active if the player has a luck effect on them (see section luck).
