  • I've made a season cycle for Minecraft 1.9-1.12.

    It's exactly what it sounds like. As soon as you turn on this module, the seasons cycle will begin (starting with summer).

    One season is 24 Minecraft days.

    During Summer:

    -for twice every month (8 days) there will be a thunderstorm for a randomly set time (sometimes short sometimes long; sometimes morning sometimes night)

    -tall grass will be randomly turned into a deadbush

    -double tall grass will be randomly turned into (regular) tall grass

    -grass will be randomly dehydrate into dirt

    -you will get thirsty and must drink a potion or bottle of water to stay hydrated (you will get a warning after 10 minutes and then 2 minutes later will be poisoned if you are not hydrated)

    -days will be about 50% longer and nights will be about 50% shorter (15min/5min)

    During Autumn/Fall:

    -rain is normal

    -leaves will randomly fall from trees

    -apples will randomly fall from oak trees

    -pumpkins will randomly appear on grass

    -turkeys can randomly spawn (just a renamed chicken, nothing special)

    -days will be equally as long as nights will be (10min/10min)

    During Winter:

    -for twice every month (8 days) it will rain and snow the whole day (snow layers will randomly appear)

    -every night (from 17000 to 22000) it will rain and snow (snow layers will randomly appear)

    -water will be randomly turned into ice

    -ice will be randomly turned into packed ice

    -natural oak, birch, and dark oak will randomly lose their leaves

    -farmland will randomly become hard and unfertilized

    -days will be about 50% shorter and nights will be about 50% longer (5min/15min)

    During Spring:

    -every dawn (from 22000 to 0) it will rain

    -ice will randomly melt back into water

    -packed ice will randomly decompress back into ice

    -crops will randomly grow faster

    -trees will regrow their leaves

    -poppys and dandilions will randomly appear on grass

    -baby animals will grow 2x faster

    -animals randomly breed automatically

    -days will be equally as long as nights will be (10min/10min)

    Every time the season changes, everybody who is online will be notified by a title

    Seasons will (pretty obviously) loop.
